Our Mission
Our Goal

Our Mission at the Philanthropic Educational Center is both simple and far-reaching. We strive to empower and educate children and young people who are financially and/or emotionally challenged, and we seek to give them the tools to live better, more productive lives.

Our Goal

Our GoalOur goal is to help every child and young adult develop their full physical, mental, social, and spiritual potential; and to also assist them in becoming self-reliant, contributing members of society.

Please pause for a second to consider what we are providing:

Think back for a moment to when you were a child. did you have a place to live? A warm blanket? Clothing? Clean water? A place to go to school?

Did someone ever help you with your homework? Did you see a doctor when you were ill? Did someone place a bandage on your scraped knee? Did you get a present on Christmas Morning?

These are almost silly questions, as the above are common benefits of living in today's world. But they aren't common for everyone - right in your community, there are people - especially children - who do not have these things. A few don't have any of them.

We address that. Plain and simple.

And you can help us.

Our Philosophy

We vow to assist those who are struggling to achieve the essential skills to live a complete and self-reliant life.
We will provide hope, a sense of security, love, respect, and dignity.

We do this through action, through education, and also through the spiritual notion that God, above all else, is our main support system, and our guiding hand.

We will give to those who need, and will provide them the means to live the purposeful life that God meant for them to live.

Will you help us?

Why Help??

10% of the children in Haiti will not live to see their 4th birthday. Of those that live, 7% will become enslaved. These are almost unimaginable numbers, aren't they? If they were happening in the US, the response would be swift. Yet it's happening a mere 600 miles from the US. And you can help stop it.

Our Values

We strongly believe in the concept of selfless giving, as well as empowerment.

By giving selflessly of ourselves, we help ease the suffering and despair that many children and families experience. But we feel this concept gathers strength when a longer-term approach is also heeded.

This means we strive to not only help people (especially children), but to empower them as well. By giving children the tools (both educational and spiritual) to lead happy, healthy, productive lives, we better society as a whole.

Do you share our values? Then please help us.
